Post-Snowmicron 2022: Takoma, Washington, DC
The first snow of the New Year for DC fell during the morning of January 3rd. It started out slow, then turned into a near blizzard. Some folks ambitious enough to test their luck, were stranded on I-95 in Northern Virginia for over 24 hours—a harrowing experience, indeed. Safe to say my family and I avoided that. The next day, I ventured out into the slowly melting snow and tried to capture some of the scenery in and around the Takoma neighborhood. It was absolutely gorgeous and I hope I did it justice. I used a Fujifilm X-T200. The pictures are unedited except for being compressed to fit into the 4:3 framing for this page.
