Liangma River, Beijing, China: June 22nd, 2023
We took advantage of a day off for the Dragon Boat Festival, a Chinese Holiday, by exploring a little bit of the riverwalk along the Liangma River. Most of these pictures were taken along the portion just behind the Four Seasons and the Lufthansa Center. Some others came from the strip of shops and restaurants just south of the river. I used a Fujifilm X-T200. There were some minor edits to most photographs, mainly cropping and scaling each to a 4:3 ratio.

An enterprising fisherman with a longer pole seeks a different route to the middle of the river. Still haven't seen anyone catch a fish.
Just south of the river and north of a strip full of grocery stores and restaurants.
Looking east along a canal that feeds the Liangma River, a local taxi speeds into the shot.
Headed south over the canal, just up ahead is a Michelin starred/rated dumplings joint with a binder full of dumplings.
A pint of Thunder Hands Wit is an excellent salve to the scorching heat we're facing.
I toltchall they take their fried chicken seriously.
