Capturing Beijing—The Summer Palace and Street Photography in the Hutongs: August 2024
I took these photos while the in-laws were in town. It was our first time at the Zoo and Summer Palace. One evening, my wife and I enjoyed exploring the hutongs on a food tour with Lost Plate while her parents looked after the kids.
All three of these places form part of the quintessential Beijing experience. They are perfect for photography and vibrant enough for travel bloggers. I captured these shots with my iPhone and Fujifilm XT200 mirrorless camera.
Follow my journey and explore the Gardens of Harmonious Pleasures, Kun Ming Lake, and the lively life in hutongs north of the Forbidden City from your phone or desktop.
